Marlene Aguilar is the founder and principal of Compass Branding Group. She has over 20 years experience in the luxury, sports and technology sectors, having held senior level marketing roles with premier brands. Known as a brand builder, Marlene effectively combines creative marketing and communication concepts with highly successful metrics-driven commercial results. 

 

Marlene Aguilar was Director of Marketing for BULGARI's Americas division and VP Marketing for IPPOLITA Jewelry.  As Senior Marketing Manager for the National Basketball Association, she was an integral part in  the League's global expansion, including international licensing and marketing programs.  She has a MBA degree from The University of Geneva in Switzerland and a B.A. degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University.  She lives in Manhattan and speaks six languages, including Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, and Mandarin Chinese. When not working, she enjoys traveling  and triathlon training.
